Going to the Castello, via Sottocastello, the medieval residence of Caterina Cornaro, Queen of Cyprus, now housing a fancy bar and the Teatro Duse. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Breda, built on the foundations of a Roman bath complex, contains paintings by Lorenzo Lotto and Jacopo Da Bassano. A leisurely stroll leads to the cemetery of S. Anna, via S. Anna 3111, where F. Stark and E. Duse are buried. The entrance is near the homonymous church and here you enjoy one of the best views over the Asolo hills. Going along Via Bembo you can reach the Rocca dating back in the twelfth century and from whose top you can admire the 100 horizons praised by the Italian poet Carducci.
